Ernst Trahndorff

Ernst Trahndorff (born March 13, 1850 in Berlin , † August 26, 1914 in Düren ), also Ernst Thrandorf , Ernst Thrandorf and T. Ernst Thrandorf was a German writer . He wrote under the pseudonym T. Ernst . He lived in Düren, Kaiserplatz 9 , later Altenteich 18 .

His parents were the Berlin director Otto Trahndorff and Wilhelmine, geb. Shearling. Ernst Trahndorff was not married.

Trahndorff, whose résumé is not entirely clear, wrote mainly local historical novels . His genre also included festival poems, stage plays, poems, songs and speeches of all kinds.

During his studies he traveled to Frankfurt am Main , Leipzig and Königsberg, among others . The city council made the city archivist August Schoop Trahnsdorff available in 1894 as adlatus for registering and organizing the files. This also explains his historical knowledge. In 1895 Trahndorff resigned from this office.
