Erwarton or Arwarton is a village and a management unit on the Shotley Peninsula in District Babergh in the county of Suffolk , England. Expectation is 7 miles from Ipswich . In 2011 it had a population of 126 residents. Expectation was mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086 as Elmeswella . The parish church is dedicated to Saint Mary.
