action

On behalf of the art collector Elgin Bates, the mercenary Lester Crowley discovers a long-lost statue of Artemis in Greece. When Crowley ambushes the transport, the couple are able to save the statue, but are locked under the deck of the sinking ship. Crowley and his men try to get the statue back and escape on a chartered submarine . The Spencers can switch to a mini-submarine with diving suits . When trying to ram the mini submarine, Crowley's submarine collides with rocks and sinks. The couple are rescued by a US warship . Bates is arrested by the FBI .

criticism

"Die Hard" meets "Titanic" in the cheap banana steamer version. Conclusion: awkward B-film with watery action "

"Believing that it can combine tried and tested blockbuster elements as desired, the film presents itself as a mixture of" Titanic "and" Die Hard ", but only brings about a completely confused story. They cannot cover up the overwhelmed actors who also have to struggle with the handicap of amateur special effects. "
