Ken Olandt

Kenneth Andrew Olandt (born April 22, 1958 in Richmond , California ) is an American actor and film producer .

Life

Olandt began his acting career in 1983 with an episode series of the television series Matt Houston . The following year he had his first recurring role as Kirk Dooley in the series Trio With Four Fists . In the mid-1980s he was a popular guest star in series such as Das A-Team , Love Boat and Airwolf . In 1988 he had a recurring role in the soap opera Shadow of Passion and in the same year played one of the leading roles in the series Aircraft Carrier USS Georgetown , which was discontinued after nine episodes. Between 1990 and 1992 he played a leading role alongside Patrick Macnee in the series Super Force .

He had feature film roles in the film comedy Summer School by Carl Reiner and in the horror film Leprechaun - Der Killerkobold . From the mid-1990s, Olandt increasingly worked as a film producer. He mainly produced science fiction and horror films, some of which he himself appeared in as an actor. The films he has produced include Daybreak - Catastrophe in LA with Roy Scheider and Ted McGinley and Deep Core - The earth burns with Terry Farrell and Bruce McGill in the leading roles.

Olandt is married to actress Denise Kerwin and is the son-in-law of William Kerwin and Connie Mason .
