The Eschenbach is a river in the municipality of Harpstedt in the Oldenburg district in Lower Saxony .
The source of the five kilometer long stream is located southwest of Klein Henstedt in the Klein Henstedter Heide . In a southerly direction it flows under the A1 . The Eschenbach merges with the Grünbach coming from the south, flowing north of Schulenberg to the east . Both streams flow over a common lower course to the north at Prinzhöfte from the left into the Delme .
Around 2008, the formerly desolate, canalized backwaters of the Delme were converted back into a stream, which offers a habitat for animals and plants, in voluntary work and in cooperation with the Ochtumverband .
