Prinzhöfte is a municipality in the Harpstedt municipality in the Oldenburg district in Lower Saxony . The community had 693 inhabitants in 2012 and covers an area of 41.98 square kilometers.

The municipality is located south of the federal motorway 1 , which runs through the municipality and is between the junctions Wildeshausen / Nord and Groß Ippener . This motorway can be easily reached from Simmerhausen after a short drive on federal road 213 .

The council of the community of Prinzhöfte consists of nine councilors and councilors. The blue coat of arms of the municipality shows a golden crown in the upper third. Underneath there are two wide silver horizontal stripes with wickerwork.
Worth seeing
The Wunderburger Moor in the south of the municipality is particularly worth seeing . Another, but smaller, moor is the Simmerhauser Moor, which is located on the edge of Simmerhausen near the B 213. However, it is not easy to get there as there is no path to use. Special sights are the farmhouses, some of which are over 200 years old and can be found all over the community.
