The Estéous is a river in France that runs in the Occitania region . It rises in the municipality of Laslades , near the Lac de l'Arrêt-Darré reservoir , generally drains north and crosses the historic province of Bigorre on its way . After 45 kilometers it flows into the Adour as a right tributary in the municipality of Labatut-Rivière . On its way it crosses the Hautes-Pyrénées department and for a few kilometers is also the border river to the neighboring Gers department .
