The FK Etar ( Bulgarian футболен клуб Етър ) was a Bulgarian football club from the city of Veliko Tarnovo . The club's nickname is “the boyars ” and “the violets” because of their purple jersey colors.
history
The club was founded in 1924 from a merger of the clubs Mladezhkij SK, Slava Tarnowo, Feniks Tarnowo and Viktoriya Tarnowo. 1990/91 Etar Tarnowo was Bulgarian champion and took part in the European Cup in the following season . There they were eliminated in the first round against 1. FC Kaiserslautern .
In 2003 the association was dissolved.
