Ethaboxam is a 1: 1 mixture of two enantiomeric chemical compounds from the group of thiazolecarboxamides and a fungicide developed by the Korean company LG Life Sciences .
use
Ethaboxam is used as a systemic fungicide against Oomycetes in the cultivation of vines , potatoes, cucumbers and tomatoes, whereby it has both protective and curative effects.
The active ingredient is related to zoxamide and inhibits both microtubules and fungal respiration.
Admission
No plant protection products containing this active ingredient are permitted in the EU or Switzerland .
