The Eucharist monastery was located in the North Rhine-Westphalian district town of Düren on Kölnstrasse .

In 1920 the Eucharist fathers were expelled from Belgium and came to Düren. They first moved into a building of what was then the Ursuline School on upper Kölnstrasse. Seven fathers founded the branch in Düren on July 22nd, 1920. In 1921 the foundation stone was laid for the novitiate . In 1925 they bought a farm in Echtz , which they converted into a resort for the community in Düren . The property was used until after the Second World War . In 1932 the Eucharist acquired the municipal upper lyceum . They turned it into a monastery . The Ursuline Church at that time became a monastery church and was popularly called Et Klösterche .

The monastery only existed for twelve years. Everything was destroyed in the air raid on Düren on November 16, 1944. Seven priests were killed. After returning from the evacuation , the fathers temporarily found a place to stay on Dr.-Overhues-Allee in what was then the Alexian monastery , where the Nikolaus retirement home is now. In 1948, architect W. Christoffels planned a new building on Kölnstrasse. The chapter house was consecrated as an emergency church on October 10, 1948 . The foundation stone for the new building planned by the Düren architect Helmuth Lüttgen was laid on November 18, 1964. The church was consecrated on October 30, 1966 by Aachen Bishop Johannes Pohlschneider . In 1970 the kindergarten next to the church was inaugurated.

In the 21st century, the Eucharist at the Düren location became fewer and fewer. The monastery and church were sold to the Cellitinnen from Cologne . The 40-room monastery was too big. As it was in need of renovation, the church and monastery were demolished in 2003. Today the St. Gertrud Cellitinnen Seniorenhaus stands there.
