Carl Eugen Wirsching (* 29. November 1891 in Ulm , † 22. October 1983 in Reutlingen ) was a German politician of the CDU .

Wirsching was a trade union employee.

After the Second World War, Wirsching was one of the founders of the CDU in Reutlingen. He had been a member of the Advisory State Assembly since 1946 and was elected to the State Parliament of Württemberg-Hohenzollern in 1947 , to which he was a member until 1952. On July 8, 1947, he was appointed Minister of Labor in the government of the State of Württemberg-Hohenzollern led by President Lorenz Bock . After Bock's sudden death, he also belonged to the subsequent government headed by Prime Minister Gebhard Müller . After the DVP left the coalition, the business of the Ministry of Economics, previously headed by Eberhard Wildermuth , was initially continued by Ministerialdirigent Walther Mosthaf . In October 1949, Wirsching also took over the management of the vacant department. With the founding of the "Southwest State" of Baden-Württemberg on April 25, 1952, his term as minister ended. From 1952 to 1960 he was a member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament .
