European Cup for the National Football Teams 1936 to 1938
The fourth edition of the European National Football Team Cup began in March 1936. The national teams of Austria , Italy , Switzerland , Hungary and Czechoslovakia took part. The competition had in April 1938 after the " connection " of Austria to the German Reich to be discontinued. At that time Hungary was leading the table with Italy still undefeated in 2nd place.
