Eusebio L. Elizondo Almaguer

Eusebio L. Elizondo Almaguer MSpS (born August 8, 1954 in the Municipio Victoria , Tamaulipas ) is a Mexican religious and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Seattle .

Life

Eusebio L. Elizondo Almaguer joined the religious order of Missionaries of the Holy Spirit , made his profession in 1974 and was ordained a priest on August 18, 1984 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on May 12, 2005 auxiliary bishop in Seattle and titular bishop of Acholla . The Archbishop of Seattle, Alexander Joseph Brunett , donated him episcopal ordination on June 6 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were George Leo Thomas , Bishop of Helena , and Gustavo García-Siller MSpS, Auxiliary Bishop in Chicago .

Bishop Elizondo chairs the Subcommittee on the Church in Latin America of the United States Bishops' Conference . The Subcommittee on the Church in Latin America supports projects of the Catholic Church in Latin America and the Caribbean financially.
