Eva Afuhs
Eva Afuhs (born May 23, 1954 in Vienna ; † April 8, 2011 in Zurich ) was an Austrian visual artist .
Life
Eva Afuhs studied metal design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. From 1987 to 1990 she was teaching there in the master class of sculpture .
Since 1990 she has worked as a freelance artist in the fields of installation , room installation , sculpture , video art , black and white photography and conceptual art . In 1992 she was accepted into the Association of Visual Artists of the Vienna Secession . Eva Afuhs lived and worked in Zurich, where she was also the curator of the Bellerive Museum . On April 8, 2011, she was killed in a traffic accident with a tram in Zurich.
