Eva Brunner (author)
Eva Brunner (born November 26, 1952 in Lucerne ) is a Swiss author of plays and radio plays as well as a translator and photographer .
Life & work
After graduating from high school, Eva Brunner studied at the American College of Rome Communications (film & photography), and also completed a translation course (English-German and Italian-German). From 1985 she was part of the in-house authorship of the Stadttheater Luzern . In 1987 she accepted the residency grant for “Young German-Speaking Authors” from the Berlin Senate and the Literary Colloquium Berlin (LCB) and has lived in Berlin ever since . Brunner is a member of the AdS (authors in Switzerland). Since 2004 increased attention to photography. From 2007 to 2011 Arno Fischer's master class student at the Ostkreuz School for Photography and Design in Berlin. She has been married to the writer and translator Bernhard Kempen since the end of 2016 .

- 1997: Alfred Döblin grant from the Berlin Academy of the Arts .

- 2005: Atelier guest in Willisau's town mill .
- 2008: Prix Suisse 2008 - Best Swiss radio play for "Blauensee".
