Eva Kolstad

Eva Lundegaard Kolstad (born May 6, 1918 in Fredrikshald , † March 26, 1999 in Oslo ) was a Norwegian politician . She was president of Norsk Kvinnesaksforening , president of the liberal party Venstre , minister for consumers and administration in the Norwegian government and the first ombudswoman for equality in Norway (and the world). From 1958 to 1961 and from 1965 to 1969 she sat for her party in Storting .
