Evandro Amorim Barbosa (born August 24, 1992 in São Sebastião do Paraíso , Minas Gerais ) is a Brazilian chess player who holds the title of Grand Master .

Career

In 2009 Barbosa achieved the title of Fide Master and in 2011 he was named International Master . In 2011 he took part in the Junior World Championship and achieved eight points with a record of six wins, three defeats and four draws. At the Capella La Grande Open 2014 he finished 41st with six points. 2016 he was part of the Brazilian team at the Chess Olympiad in Baku . In the same year he achieved the title of Grand Master.
