The Evangelical Church in Giebelstadt , a market in the Lower Franconian district of Würzburg ( Bavaria ), is a church in the parish of Giebelstadt - Herchsheim . The church at Obere Kirchgasse 8 is a protected architectural monument .

history

The core of the church dates from the 16th century and was changed in the 18th century.

Description and equipment

It is a hall building with a west tower and a three-eight choir . The church tower has an onion dome and arched sound windows .

Of the church furnishings , the altar (around 1600) and the pulpit (beginning of the 17th century) with a mosquito support in the Renaissance style should be emphasized. A large epitaph is dedicated to Amalie von Zobel († 1606).
