Roy Brocksmith
Roy Brocksmith (born September 15, 1945 in Quincy , Illinois , † December 16, 2001 in Burbank , California ) was an American actor .
Life
Brocksmith is the son of Vera Marguerite and Otis E. Brocksmith, a mechanic . After graduating from university in 1970, he moved to New York City and played on Broadway .
In particular in the late 1980s and 1990s he was seen in comedic roles in movies. He is known to a wider audience for the role of the seedy Dr. Edgemar in Total Recall at the side of Arnold Schwarzenegger . He also appeared in many television series.
He died in 2001 of kidney failure , a complication of diabetes mellitus .
