Evangelical Church of Bernsburg
The Protestant church is a listed church building in Bernsburg , a district of the municipality of Antrifttal in Vogelsbergkreis ( Hesse ).
History and architecture
The Romanesque building with a narrower square choir was renovated in 1510 and 1674. A Romanesque relief is attached above the arched north portal . The choir was formerly equipped with a groin vault .
Furnishing
- A wall tabernacle from 1471
- A west gallery from the 17th century and the north gallery from 1752
- The pews, some of which are from the late Middle Ages, were installed between 1740 and 1750 and have openwork rosettes.
- The pulpit was made around 1800
- The organ front was erected in the 18th century.
