The Protestant parish church is a listed church building in Lünern , a district of Unna in the Unna district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

History and architecture

The building is a non-uniform, three-bay hall construction with a 5/8 end . The Romanesque west tower was built in the 12th century, the two western bays in the 14th century. The choir and the southern sacristy were probably built in the second half of the 15th century. The outer walls are plastered, the window frames and the water hammer of the buttresses are made of green sandstone. The late Gothic tracery windows have one to three lanes. The biforic windows in the tower are adorned with set columns. Ribbed vaults were drawn into the interior . The choir is separated from the nave by a powerful triumphal arch. The three blind arcades in the south wall were probably intended for Levite chairs .
