Eve Sonneman

Eve Sonneman (* 1946 in Chicago ) is an American photographer .

Life

Eve Sonneman graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor's degree and received her master's degree from the University of New Mexico in 1969 .

Sonneman was Professor at the Universities New York University , School of Visual Arts , New York, Cooper Union College of Art and Architecture, City University of New York , Rice University , Houston, Texas.

Her role models and friends are Nan Goldin , Robert Mapplethorpe , Martha Graham , Madonna , Janis Joplin , Piet Mondrian , Frank Lloyd Wright . She lives in New York City and Cannes , France .
