Eveline Wild

Eveline Wild (born October 5, 1980 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian confectioner and TV cook for the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF) .

Life

From 1996 to 1999 Eveline Wild completed an apprenticeship as a pastry chef. She passed her final apprenticeship examination to become a pastry chef in 1999 and the master craftsman and trainer examination in 2003 with “excellent success”. She then worked as a chef pâtissière at the Hotel Central in Sölden and at the Steirereck in Vienna.

Since June 2008 she has been working in the hotel of her partner Stefan Eder in St. Kathrein am Offenegg ( Styria ), where she also offers cooking and pastry courses. In addition to the gold medal at the World Skills World Skills Championship in Seoul / South Korea in 2001, she took second place at the Cru de cao Award in Cologne in 2011 .

Since September 2012 she has been part of the TV cooking show Schmeckt Perfekt ( freshly cooked until 2018 ) on Thursdays alongside Andreas Wojta and Alexander Fankhauser on the TV channel ORF 2 . The commitment was preceded by a recommendation from their former bosses in Steirereck . She had to prevail against five other applicants in the casting.

Since the change in the TV format in January 2014, she has been baking with moderator Elisabeth Engstler alongside top chefs who change every month.

She further expanded her television presence in September 2014. Together with Bernd Kütscher , she acted as a juror in the ZDF broadcast Germany's best baker , jury partner is Johann Lafer . In the second season of the show, Wild is still a juror and tastes the baked goods with juror partner Peter Kapp and Pastry Chef of the Year 2015 Ian Baker.
