Evelyn Fischer (singer)

Evelyn Fischer (* 1964 in Weimar ) is a German television presenter and singer . She has also been teaching at the University of Music and Theater in Leipzig as a professor for singing and methodology since 1992 .

Life

As a singer she sings mostly German pop music with jazz elements. Their album, released in 2008, is called Mainly Cheerful . The album The Thoughts Are Free , on which folk songs can be heard in pop and jazz arrangements, only narrowly missed entry into the official German media control charts.

Fischer also moderates various programs on German television. Every Thursday she can be seen alternating with Thomas Bille at 10:05 p.m. on MDR . There she moderates the culture magazine artour . It also represents Dieter Moor in the ARD telecast ttt - title, theses, temperaments .

Evelyn Fischer is married to a composer and has one son. Her sister Kathrin Schirmer (1960–2017) was also a singer and presenter.

Honors

Evelyn Fischer won the Golden City Hall Man at the Dresden Festival of the same name in 1985 and 1987 .
