Ewald Dietrich
Bernhard Ewald Dietrich (born May 3, 1881 in Magdeburg ; † after 1950) was a German businessman and politician ( LDP ). He was a member of the Landtag of Saxony-Anhalt and the People's Chamber of the GDR .
Life
Ewald Dietrich completed a full commercial apprenticeship, first in the insurance industry and then in the machine industry. He worked in the industry as an authorized representative, authorized signatory and managing director. After the Second World War he was an independent representative in the automotive, accessories and chemical industries.
On August 1, 1945 he joined the Liberal Democratic Party of Germany (LDP) and was district chairman of the LDP in the Haldensleben district . He was a member of the district council and unpaid city councilor of the city of Haldensleben .
In the state elections in the province of Saxony in 1946 he was elected to the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt in constituency II ( Burg , Magdeburg , Schönebeck , Jerichow I , Wolmirstedt , Haldensleben , Wanzleben ) .
He was a member of the German People's Council from 1948 to 1949 and of the Provisional People's Chamber of the GDR from 1949 to 1950 .
