Eynern (noble family)
Eynern is the name of a German aristocratic family , whose origins lie in one of the saddle farms of Werden Abbey in Einern near Barmen in the Schwelm parish in the county of Mark . The direct family line begins with Hinczen van Eneren , mentioned in 1412, who was enfeoffed on May 31, 1421 by the Abbot of Werden with the lower court of Eynern, called "Hoff op'm Berge".

Until the respective ennoblement, the “von” in the family name was merely a component of the name and at the same time an indication of origin, but not a nobility predicate.
