fan frankenstolz Schlaf Comfort H. Neumeyer GmbH & Co. KG , headquartered in Mainaschaff in Lower Franconia, is one of the largest manufacturers of home textiles in Europe.

The product range includes bedding (quilts, pillows and mattresses , associated frames and sleeping bags ), as well as industrial nonwovens and piety goods .

The medium-sized company was founded in 1955 by Herbert Neumeyer by taking over the Reuss quilt sewing company in Aschaffenburg . The then only ten employees produced 40 parts per day by hand. In 1988 the Heinrich Häussling feather and down factory in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse , which dates back to 1850, was integrated into the group. From 1993 to 2001 another plant was built in Oschatz -Merkwitz.

Today, the company employs a total of around 700 people who produce 35,000 quilted pieces and 2,500 mattresses per day in the four plants in Mainaschaff near Aschaffenburg (around 300 employees), Aschbach near Bamberg , Merkwitz in Saxony and Neustadt an der Weinstrasse in Rhineland-Palatinate , correspondingly per year over six million articles, of which around 6,000 are different. The fan frankenstolz arena in Aschaffenburg (formerly: Unterfrankenhalle), named after the sponsoring company, was the venue for the men's handball Bundesliga club TV Großwallstadt .
