Gentlemen: history
The association was founded on November 10, 1907. In the 1960s, FC Germania Untergrombach was one of the top teams in the Middle Baden 2nd Amateur League. 1966 achieved the greatest success in the club's history with promotion to the 1st Amateur League North Baden . At that time, the league was the third division and the highest amateur league below the Bundesliga and the South Regional Football League. Due to the 15th and penultimate place in the table followed after just one season in 1967, the direct relegation. Until 1974 the FC could hold in the 2nd amateur league Mittelbaden before relegating to the divisions of the Bruchsal district. After relegation from the Bruchsal district league, the first team has belonged to the Bruchsal district class A since 2005. The men celebrated their last triumph with the 2001 district cup victory.
Women: history
FC Germania Untergrombach (until 1983)

As a result, the team then took part in the first ever played German women's championship in 1974. There you ended up in group 2 without a win in last place. In 1978 the women finally won the first association cup of the Baden Football Association . Since the women's DFB Cup was only introduced in 1980, it did not result in participation in the DFB Cup. From 1974/75 the championships went mainly to SV Schlierstadt or its successor SC Klinge Seckach .
FC Spöck (1983 to 1990)
In 1983 the women's team of FC Germania Untergrombach moved to FC Spöck . Although Bruchsal is the neighboring community of Spöck , the move from the Bruchsal soccer district to Karlsruhe followed. However, in women's football, the football district boundaries are rather insignificant. As FC Spöck succeeded in 1986/87 and 1987/88 the association championship with participation in the German championship and 1985/86 and 1987/88 the association cup victory with participation in the DFB-Pokal in the following season. This broke the dominance of the SC Klinge Seckach at that time. On a nationwide level, FC Spöck was eliminated in the second round at the latest.

Furthermore, the DFC was in 1990/91 and 1991/92 champions of the Baden Association League, but failed in the promotion round to the Bundesliga.
DFC Eggenstein (1993 to 2001)
As a consequence of the move, the name was changed to DFC Eggenstein in 1993 . As DFC Eggenstein, the team won the association league championship in 1994/95, but failed in the promotion round to the Bundesliga . In 1996 the DFC became a founding member of the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg. There you had to leave the championship to the South Baden clubs SC Sand and especially SC Freiburg . Eggenstein also won the Association Cup in 1994/95 , 1997/98 and 2000/01 . These three DFB Cup participations also ended in the second round at the latest. In 2001/02 they lost under a new name in a record 0:20 against 1. FFC Frankfurt .
In 2001, the B-Juniors of DFC Eggenstein won the German championship by 1-0 in the final against series champion 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam .
Karlsruher SC (from 2001)
