The FSC Jena is a sports club from Jena and with around 150 members (as of January 2013) the fencing club in Thuringia with the largest number of members . It was founded on May 3, 2006 under the name Fechtsportclub Jena from the fencing department of TuS Jena . The FSC Jena, together with the Sports High School Jena, is the sponsor of the junior performance sports center for fencing in Thuringia. The association offers children, adolescents and adults the sport of fencing both with a competitive orientation and with a leisure character. In the field of performance, numerous medals and placements at German, as well as world and European championships in the adult and youth field have been achieved in the past.
