Fabinho , real name Fábio Gonçalves (born November 19, 1986 in Cruzeiro ), is a Brazilian soccer player . The right footer is used in the central midfield or as a right defender.
Career
Fabinho began his career in 2006 with the lower class Camboriú FC . After various intermediate stops, the player came to Alecrim FC in Natal . With this, he played his first games at the national level of the Série D . He played his first game here on July 17, 2011 against Santa Cruz FC . With his move to city rivals América FC , he made his personal promotion to the Série C in the same year . At the end of the season Fabinho rose with America as fourth in the B series . The first game with America in 2012 was his first in the Copa do Brasil . On March 8th he played against Horizonte FC . They lost 0-2 and Fabinho received a red card in the 90th minute . On May 19, 2012 his club played in the Série B against the Goiás EC and won 5: 2 - for him his first game in the second-highest Brazilian division. For the 2015 season, Fabinho left the club and joined Figueirense FC .
At Figueirense he played in the Série A from then on . His first appearance in the competition took place on May 17, 2015. Fabinho competed with his club against Vasco da Gama . The game ended 0-0. On July 5, in a 2-1 victory over Flamengo , he scored his first goal in the major league. In the 90th minute he contributed the goal to the 2-1 final score. At the end of the 2015 season, the player moved to SC Internacional . The following year , his club had to relegate for the first time in championship history since 1971. In the games for immediate resurgence, Gonçalves was used eleven times and scored one goal. At the end of May 2018 Gonçalves was handed over to Ceará SC .
