Fabio Magnifico
Fabio Magnifico (born January 7, 1961 in Bari , Italy ) is a German director , journalist , film producer and research assistant at the University of Bielefeld and the University of Cologne . He maintains further scientific cooperation with the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences , department of design, and with the faculty for human sciences of the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg . He also worked for City University London , for the Faculty of Health Sciences and for the Faculty of Linguistics and Literature at Bielefeld University.
Life
After graduating from high school in southern Italy, he studied pedagogy, psychology and philosophy at the University of Bari and then between 1992 and 1997 at the University of Bielefeld educational science. After graduating with a degree in media education, he founded the media production company dvmedia.de in Bielefeld and later took over the coordination of the media education laboratory (MPL) at Bielefeld University.
Professional activities
As part of his academic collaboration at Bielefeld University, he developed the idea of a feature film entitled The Bielefeld Conspiracy . to turn. The film was made as part of a series of seminars organized by the AG for Media Education of the Faculty of Education at Bielefeld University. Dvmedia.de counts as a co-producer of this film project. CinemaxX Bielefeld showed the film for six weeks in 2010. It was seen by around 10,000 spectators.
While still studying in Bielefeld, Magnifico directed the music video clip Ilse from Milse and founded the television station Kanal 21 (formerly Bivisio, open channel for Bielefeld).
As a media scientist and coordinator of the media education laboratory at Bielefeld University, he managed several successful film projects and events:
- The UniVideoMagazin, a short film festival , has been for more than 18 years in July and February short films and other productions of the universities in the region of East Westphalia-Lippe shows. Of these, he organized eight UniVideoMagazine as a drive-in cinema in cooperation with the Aesthetic Center at Bielefeld University. The UniVideoMagazin is currently (as of April 2014) presented in the CinemaxX Bielefeld . The gold-plated Ottavia has been the challenge cup for the winning films since 2004 .

- Video campaign weeks, video projects with schools, leisure centers in the Ostwestfalen-Lippe region, Herford district, Gütersloh and Magdeburg.
