Fabrice-Jean "Fafà" Picault (born February 23, 1991 in New York City , New York ) is an American - Haitian football player . The striker is under contract with FC Dallas and is an American international .
Career
societies
Picault spent most of his youth in Italy and in 2011 switched from the youth of Cagliari Calcios to the US franchise Tampa Bay Rowdies, founded a year earlier . With the team he played in the second-rate North American Soccer League . On January 1, 2013 Picault left the club and a year later, in March 2014, joined the Fort Lauderdale Strikers . In his first season he scored four goals in seven games in the NASL Spring Championship .
From January 2015 Picault was under contract with the Czech first division club Sparta Prague for seven months , but was not used in any competitive game. Shortly before the end of the transfer period, he moved to the German second division club FC St. Pauli at the beginning of the 2015/16 season . He signed a one-year contract with an option for another year. On March 11, 2016, he scored his first goal in the 2nd Bundesliga with the goal of 3: 4 in the home game against SC Paderborn 07 . At the end of April 2016, Picault extended his contract to June 30, 2018. At the end of January 2017, the contract between Picault and FC St. Pauli was terminated by mutual agreement and he switched to Philadelphia Union .
For the 2020 season, Picault moved within the MLS to FC Dallas .
National team
Picault completed an international match for the US U-20s at the age of 18 . On September 9, 2014, he played once for the Haitian national team in a friendly against Chile . On May 22, 2016 Picault debuted at the 3: 1 win over Puerto Rico in the senior national team of the United States .
