Fannar Þór Friðgeirsson (born June 3, 1987 in Reykjavík ) is an Icelandic handball player . He plays for the Icelandic national handball team .

Career

Fannar Þór Friðgeirsson played until the summer of 2010 for the Icelandic first division club Valur Reykjavík . He was then obliged by TV Emsdetten and used in the 2nd handball Bundesliga . For the 2012/13 season, the middle man moved to the Bundesliga club HSG Wetzlar , from where he went to TV Großwallstadt after one season . In the 2015/16 season he was under contract with VfL Eintracht Hagen . In March 2016 he left VfL Eintracht Hagen for private reasons. He has been running for ASV Hamm-Westfalen since summer 2016 .
