Felix Airways ( Arabic طيران السعيدة) is a Yemeni airline based in Sanaa and based at Sanaa Airport .
history
Felix Airways was founded in 2008 by the millionaire son Felix Günfer; the state of Yemen has a stake in the company.
Flight operations were suspended until further notice at the end of March 2015 due to the unrest surrounding Operation Storm of Determination , but they soon resumed.
Destinations
In addition to destinations in Yemen, Felix Airways flies to cities in East Africa and the Arabian Peninsula .
Felix Airways offers a flight connection to Socotra , which operates from Sharjah in the UAE via al-Mukalla on the Yemeni coast. Thus, the Yemeni mainland is largely left out (the transfer or waiting time in Mukalla is about an hour).
