Felix Christopher Hey

Felix Christopher Hey (* 1963 ) is a German legal scholar .

Life

After graduating as Dr. iur. in Munich in 1991 and habilitation there in 2001, he teaches there as an adjunct professor . His areas of expertise include civil law, commercial and corporate law, and labor law.

Hey worked from 1993 to 1995 in the Bavarian State Ministry of Finance and then until 2003 for the Bayerische Vereinsbank . He then headed the commercial law editing department at the CH Beck publishing house . Since 2010 he has been a managing partner of the Otto Schmidt publishing house , succeeding Karl-Peter Winters . In the same year he also took over this position at RWS Verlag in Cologne , whose partner was Otto Schmidt Verlag. At the end of 2019, the publisher sold its shares in RWS and bought CF Müller Verlag from Heidelberg , which Hey has been running since then together with its previous managing director Joachim Kraft.
