Felix von Vittinghoff-Schell
Felix Freiherr von Vittinghoff called Schell zu Schellenberg (born October 3, 1910 in Weeze , † November 13, 1992 in Goch ) was a German politician ( CDU ).
Vittinghoff came from the old Rhenish - Westphalian noble family Vietinghoff from the county of Mark with the parent company Vittinghoff (today floor monument) in Essen-Rellinghausen .
He graduated from the Collegium Augustinianum Gaesdonck and then studied law and modern languages in Munich , Friborg and Cologne . Vittinghoff was a doctor of law , participated in the war, from 1947 to 1969 mayor and 1970 honorary citizen of Weeze in the Kleve district . As a member of the CDU for the constituency of Kleve , he was a member of the German Bundestag from 1961 to 1969 . He was also the Royal Dutch Honorary Consul , Oboedienz Grand Cross Bailli of the Sovereign Order of Malta and holder of the Merit Cross 1st Class (1968) and the Grand Merit Cross of the Federal Republic of Germany .
He was a member of the Catholic student union K.St.V. Rheno-Bavaria Munich in the KV .
