Fenpyrazamine is a chemical compound in the dihydropyrazolone family that is used in agriculture as a fungicide (anti-fungal agent). Fenpyrazamine works - like the related fenhexamide - by inhibiting 3-keto-reductase in sterol biosynthesis.

use

Fenpyrazamine is used against botrytis (gray mold) in vegetable, fruit and viticulture. The active ingredient has an excellent preventive effect.

Admission

In Germany, Austria, Switzerland and other EU countries, plant protection products with fenpyrazamine as an active ingredient (trade name Prolectus ) are approved.
