Ferdinand Zink (born December 14, 1987 in Munich ) is a German ice hockey player (defender) who was under contract with the Erding Gladiators in the Bavarian League last season .

Career

Zink began his career at the age of 15 in the 2002/03 season at ESV Kaufbeuren in the junior Bundesliga, before moving to the Starbulls Rosenheim in the DNL for the 2003/04 season.

His next stop in the DNL was EV Landshut , before he signed a contract with EHC Munich for the 2005/06 season in the 2nd Bundesliga . During his time at EHC Munich, he was also used at EHC Klostersee in the league , to which he moved to the 2006/07 season.

In the 2007/08 season, zinc was under contract with Wanderers Germering in the Bavarian League before moving to Deggendorf Fire in the league for the 2008/09 season. After 17 games, Zink left Deggendorf Fire and moved to the Bayern League for the Erding Gladiators , where the season ended.

He then spent three more full seasons with the Erding Gladiators . He had a big share in the club's greatest success so far, the promotion to the league and reaching the Bayernliga final. In the 2010/11 promotion season, he also managed to achieve his personal best score. Among other things, he was one of the top 3 defenders in the league in the playoffs this season.
