The telecommunications tower Hennstedt is a 1973 erected telecommunications tower of Deutsche Telekom AG in reinforced concrete in Hennstedt in Steinburg in Schleswig-Holstein .

The tower, designed as a type tower of type FMT 2, stands 74 meters above sea level on the Stilker mountain and has a total height of 158 meters. The tower, which is not open to the public, used to serve as the basic network transmitter for RTL and Sat.1 in the analog terrestrial reception system. The telecommunications tower is used today for the distribution of directional radio, as well as a mobile radio transmitter. From 1987 to 2004, a 22-meter-high, self-supporting GRP antenna cylinder was mounted on the top of the tower .
