Building description

The small late Gothic complex consists of an undivided nave and a lower, retracted choir with a five-eighth end . The in 14./15. The tower built in the 14th century on the north side with a bell from the middle of the 14th century is crowned by a pointed gable helmet. The murals on the south wall with the depictions of Saints Christophorus and Florian as well as a coronation of Mary were created in the second half of the 15th century. The vestibule extension dates from the 20th century. In the more recent round arch of the profiled west portal, parts of the tracery of the former tympanum have been preserved. In the vestibule there is a brick table for offerings and a late Gothic holy water stone.

In the three-bay nave, a simple ribbed vault from the end of the 15th century rests on semicircular templates with deeply drawn-down capitals on drawn-in buttresses . The buttresses form deeper niches to the north and shallower niches to the south. The wooden gallery supports the baroque organ built by Ignatius Grewitscher in 1725 . The chamfered, pointed triumphal arch connects the nave with the single-bay choir. The choir has a ribbed vault on consoles. On the north wall of the choir there is a rectangular sacrament niche in a profiled frame. A chamfered portal leads into the sacristy on the tower ground floor. On the north wall of the choir is a renaissance painting in Secco technique depicting the Manna miracle . The depiction of the Last Judgment on the west wall was created around 1600.

Furnishing

The high altar from 1688, decorated with fruit hangings, houses a statue of the Apostle Andrew in the central niche, flanked by the figures of Saints Nicholas and Ulrich from the middle of the 15th century. The two side altars were built at the end of the 17th century. The altar panel on the left side altar shows the teaching of Mary . On the side are the statuettes of Saints Andrew and Anthony of Padua from the 17th century. The right side altar depicts Saint Anthony of Padua in the middle picture and carries the sculptures of Saints Oswald and Johannes Nepomuk as well as a small crucifixion group .

On the late Baroque wall altar in the north of the Mitteljoch are the popular figures of Saints Ulrich and Nikolaus and a clothed Virgin and Child from the 15th century, which was once attached to a processional pole. The pulpit with the image of the Good Shepherd was built in 1688 and is crowned by the figure of St. Paul on the sound cover . A rosary group from the second half of the 17th century hangs in front of the triumphal arch . The church also features a Gothic lecture cross , a group of guardian angels carved by Jakob Kreisnegger in the mid-19th century and a Mother of God with child from the end of the 17th century, as well as pictures of the Fourteen Holy Helpers and Saint Corona .
