The Ruprechtshofen branch church is located in the village of Ruprechtshofen in the municipality of Niederneukirchen in Upper Austria . The Roman Catholic branch church of St. Virgin Mary and Sts. Peter and Paul of the parish church in Niederneukirchen belongs to the deanery Enns-Lorch in the diocese of Linz . The church is a listed building .

history

The church was built from 1754 to 1758.

architecture

The small church building on a hill shows staggered roofs. The single- nave , two-bay nave is vaulted with Bohemian caps and is decorated with a stucco frame. The drawn-in low one-bay choir has a straight end and a sacristy extension behind it . The western ridge turret wears an onion helmet .

Furnishing

The high altar in the Rococo style is from the third quarter of the 18th century and carries a Gothic statue of Our Lady from the beginning of the 16th century.
