Filippo Perucchini (born October 6, 1991 in Bergamo ) is an Italian football goalkeeper . He played more than 100 games for US Lecce and has been under contract with Italian first division club FC Empoli since the 2018/19 season .
Career
society
Perucchini was born in Bergamo , northern Italy , and started playing football at the local club AlbinoLeffe . At the age of eleven he went to AC Milan , where he was trained for eight years. With the U17 of the club he became youth champion in 2007, with the U-20 in 2010 Italian junior cup winner . From the 2008/09 season he was sporadically appointed to the professional squad and was a permanent member of it from 2010.
Until his move to the second division US Lecce in the 2013/14 season without a professional appearance for the Rossoneri , the goalkeeper was loaned to various lower-class clubs. With Lecce, he completed 51 of his 101 games for the club in the third-tier Serie C .
For the 2016/17 season he was signed by the first division club FC Bologna , for which he never played, he was only awarded twice, including to his ex-club Lecce.
Second division Ascoli Calcio then signed Perucchini as the second goalkeeper in summer 2018.
National team
Perucchini played seven games in goal for the Italian U-17 juniors .
Trivia
Filippo Perucchini gained worldwide fame for a video of a game scene that went viral . On December 27, 2018, he played with his club Ascoli Calcio for the Serie B league table, US Palermo . After a back pass from a teammate, Perucchini wanted to dodge an approaching Palermo attacker and dribbled the ball at his foot into his own goal. The game ended 3-0 for Palermo.
