Flaviano Khoury
Flaviano Khoury , also Flavien Cyrille Kfoury (* 1859 in Khounshara , Lebanon , † 1920 ) was Archbishop of Homs in Syria of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church .
Life
On November 21, 1901, he was appointed Archbishop of Homs to succeed Gregor Ata . The episcopal ordination donated him on November 21, 1901 Peter IV. Géraigiry , Patriarch of Antioch of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church; Co-consecrators were Cyrill VIII Geha, Archbishop of Aleppo , Eutimio Zulhof BS, Archbishop of Tire , Basilio Haggiar BS, Bishop of Sidon , Melezio Fakkak , Archbishop of Beirut and Jbeil , Joseph Dumáni BS, Bishop of Tripoli , and Nicolas Cadi , Archbishop of Bosra and Hauran .
He was co- consecrator of Patriarch Maximos IV Sayegh . In 1920 he was retired while being appointed titular archbishop of Palmyra dei Greco-Melkiti and died that same year. He was succeeded by Basilio Khouri .
