Flitzer is a Swiss comedy film directed by Peter Luisi from 2017 .

The German teacher Balz Näf is a single father and lives with his pubescent daughter Elisa in Baden . However, after he accidentally gambled away the money for the new school sports field, he got into financial difficulties. Together with his hairdresser Kushtrim he works out a plan to get money quickly. So they found a team of professional speedsters who are supposed to influence various sporting events in such a way that courtship and Kushtrim can win their sports betting . But when Balz falls in love with the policewoman Sandra Strebel, of all people, who was put on him, the plot takes a completely different course.

The story Clothes Make People by Gottfried Keller served as the intellectual father of the film. Director Luisi made these references clear through the Gottfried Keller Foundation featured in the film and an appearance by the author, played by Walter Andreas Müller .
The film was released in Swiss cinemas on October 12, 2017 and was shown in Germany from November 16, 2017.
