Florent Boudié

Florent Boudié (born September 22, 1973 in Sainte-Foy-la-Grande ) is a French politician . He has been a member of the National Assembly since 2012 .

Boudié began studying at the Institut d'études politiques de Bordeaux at the age of 17 . After completing his studies, he taught public law at the Université Panthéon-Assas and at the University of Montesquieu Bordeaux IV . From 2003 he worked as a consultant for Alain Rousset , then President of the General Council of the Gironde Department. In 2007 he began advising Gilbert Mitterrand , the son of former President François Mitterrand . The following year he entered the Pineuilh Parish Council . In the parliamentary elections in 2012 he was elected to the National Assembly for the Parti socialiste in the tenth constituency of the Gironde department . After joining the La République en Marche party, he was re-elected to the National Assembly in the same constituency on June 18, 2017.

Boudié is a member of the Legislative Committee, he was rapporteur for parliament on a 2018 law regulating asylum and immigration issues.

In early 2018, Boudié established an unofficial group of parliamentarians on Islam to support the government's legislative proposal to better organize and monitor the funding of Islamic religious practice in France.
