Florian Müller (born September 11, 1989 in Landshut ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract with EV Dingolfing in the Bavarian ice hockey league since June 2015 .

Career

Florian Müller began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the junior division of the Landshut Cannibals , for whose professional team he made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga in the 2007/08 season , providing three assists in a total of 55 games in his rookie year . In addition, the defender completed three games for the upper division EHF Passau Black Hawks in the same season . After the junior international scored a goal and an assist for Landshut in the 2nd Bundesliga in 42 games in the 2008/09 season, he received a trial contract with the Straubing Tigers from the German Ice Hockey League before the following season . After 13 DEL games for the Tigers, Müller moved to SC Riessersee in the 2nd Bundesliga, where he received a contract until the end of the season. After an ankle injury , the defender had to end the season early. For the 2010/11 season , the Landshut native signed a contract with the ice hockey league club EHF Passau Black Hawks; He was also given a license to play for his home club, the Landshut Cannibals. For the 2012/13 season he went to the Eispiraten Crimmitschau in the 2nd Bundesliga ice hockey . After a year in Crimmitschau, Müller switched to Starbulls Rosenheim in the 2013/14 season and played for them in the newly founded DEL2 .

In June 2014 he returned to his home club.

International

For Germany , Müller took part in the U20 World Junior Championship in 2009 , in which he and his team finished ninth and thus penultimate place and relegated to Division 1.
