Florian Slotawa

Florian Slotawa (* 1972 in Rosenheim ) is a German artist ( conceptual art , installation, sculpture and sculpture).

His working materials are everyday objects that are rearranged and decontextualized in sculptures and temporary installations .

Life

Slotawa studied sculpture at the academies in Hamburg and Munich . In 2000 he was awarded the Hector Art Prize. From 2007 to 2010 he was a visiting professor at the University of the Arts in Berlin . Since 2011 he has been a professor for sculpture at the Kassel Art College .
