Florian Wagner (born April 27, 1987 in Balingen ; pseudonym: Geldschnurrbart ) is a German blogger and author .

Life

Florian Wagner is an industrial engineer (M. Sc.) From the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and in 2017, in addition to his position as a project manager at the automotive supplier Mahle (company), founded the financial blog geldschnurrbart , based on the frugalism pioneer Mister Money Mustache .

On his blog , Wagner documents his financial career and his understanding of frugalism . This and his goal of retiring at the age of 40 received a lot of media attention through a TV report on the show Galileo (TV show) . After a short time, the video contribution was viewed by more than a million people on YouTube. The foreword was written by Oliver Noelting, who runs the German-speaking frugalist forum and got to know Wagner at an event of the Fire movement.
