Florian Weiss (journalist)
Florian Weiss (actually Florian Weiss ; born December 11, 1976 in Ulm ) is a German journalist , radio and television presenter .
Life
After high school and civil service, Weiss made his first radio experience at Radio 7 in Ulm in 1996 . There he was employed as a freelance editor and reporter, while working in record stores and as a DJ. In 1999 Weiss moved to Antenne Bayern in Munich . There he volunteered and moderated programs such as Die Junge Wilden , Guten Morgen Bayern , Antenne Bayern am Abend and the Stefan Meixner Show together with Stefan Meixner .
He is currently the moderator of the Antenne Bayern Sunday breakfast . The weekly talk is broadcast on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the frequency of Antenne Bayern.
Since 2006, Weiss has been presenting the “ Know -it-all” section on the ZDF morning program Volle Kanne - Service every day , in which he explains everyday phenomena. In September 2010 he moved to the Elisabethenhaus nursing home in Ulm as a reporter for a week in order to devote himself to the question of when people feel “old”. His report, being old for 5 days , was broadcast in December 2010 in the ZDF magazine Volle Kanne and accompanied by an online diary. Other documentary projects followed. In 2012, ZDF broadcast its three-part documentary about the Atemreich children's home in Munich. Since April 1, 2015, Weiss has also been presenting the ZDF magazine People Today on a representative basis.
On October 15, 2011, Weiss hosted a world record for the Guinness Book of Records in the Munich Olympic Hall . The world's largest gospel choir performed in front of 6,500 visitors and under the direction of the native Nigerian and conductor Mano Ezoh .
On September 7, 2017, Weiss and Elke Wiswedel commented live on the radio on the German Radio Prize hosted by Barbara Schöneberger in the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg .
In addition to his work as a presenter, Weiss also works as a DJ . He is committed to protecting the sharks. As a recreational diver, he travels to film the endangered predatory fish. He supports and documents aid projects in West Africa. Weiss lives in the Schwabing district of Munich .
Trivia
In the second season of the pseudo-investigator documentary Lenßen & Partner , Weiss appeared as himself. In the episode "The Castrated Moderator" he played the victim.

Florian Weiss was married to his colleague Kristina Hartmann from 2014 to 2016 .
