Hato Curaçao International Airport (own name: Curaçao International Airport ) is an international airport near Willemstad on the island of Curaçao . The airport was the hub of Air ALM and its subsidiary Dutch Caribbean Airlines until 2004 and also the seat of the former Dutch Antilles Express . The airport was home to the island of Air . From November 15, 2011 to October 2017, there was a direct connection from Düsseldorf to Curaçao with Air Berlin .

The new terminal was officially opened in 2006 and has a capacity of 1.6 million passengers per year.
